Private Executive Protection Services (PEPS) provides security training of the highest calibre in Europe, Ireland, and the United States
Our courses cover a wide range of security topics including occupational and vocational training, and training for specialised skills and techniques.
All our courses carry full PEPS accreditation, and from the national security authorities if applicable.
Details of Occupational and Vocational Training Courses
- Close Protection – Introduction to personal bodyguard and security operative to transport clients and their family members, or VIP’s, to and from various events. For example, business meetings, or social, entertainment and sporting events.
- Door Supervisors – Hotel porters and Nightclub staff.
- Event Security – Public facing security officers protecting the health and safety of members of the public, and the staff and property of the event host.
- Static Security – Pedestrian based security officers, ensuring the internal security of the contents of business and residential premises. For example, a bank or retail unit in a shopping centre or precinct.
- Mobile Security – Vehicle based security officers, ensuring the security of business and residential premises. For example, an airport, buildings in an industrial/housing estate or horseracing stud farm.
- Languages – Teaching English as a second language.
- Restraint Techniques – Locks and breakaways.
Skills and Techniques
Details of Skills and Techniques Training Courses:
- Drug Awareness – Identification, prevention and elimination of drug abuse in the home, schools, workplace and social environments.
- Hostage Negotiations / Hostage Survival – Coping with a Tiger attack.
- Interpersonal Communication – Skills for dealing with the public and diverse ethnic groups.
Interview Techniques – Information gathering from victims, perpetrators and witnesses.
Personal Security – In the home and while travelling. - Prevention of violence and sexual harassment in the work place
Accreditation
Course Certificates
Successful course candidates receive certification from PEPS, and if applicable from the Security Institute of Ireland and the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC).
Training Standards
Using only the very best of training techniques, we provide training in line with current legislation and industry standards. Most of our courses are FETAC (level 4) and The Security Institute of Ireland accredited.
